Productivity of different ripeness groups of sunflower varieties and hybrids depending on sowing dates and plant population. Cherkashin S.I. "Scientific Bulletin", VNIIMK, 2005, v. 1 (132). Investigation of responses of three sunflower varieties (Foton, Beresanskiy, Krepysh). and three hybrids (Donskoy 22, Temp, Garant). on sowing dates and plant population was studied in conditions of south-east part of Krasnodar region in area of unstable moistening on typical chernozem in field trials in 2003, It is shown that maximal productivity of sunflower varieties and hybrids of three ripeness groups was received in conditions of vegetative period of that year when sowing on April 10 with plant population 50 th/ha.
