Designing humanitarian and technological educational environment as a factor for the future professional development in the process of foreign languages teaching at the university

The aim of the article is to describe the results of the research that deal with implementing the innovative model of teaching English. This objective set by the tasks of 5-100 Project at South Ural State University emphasizes the role of educational environment which may be considered as a factor of multicultural personality development. The authors specify the notion of “university multilanguage environment”, justify the theoretical foundations of designing humanitarian and technological educational environment in innovative conditions. The elements of humanitarian and technological educational environment have been revealed that are described as personal, humanitarian, technological and communicative. The paper also summarizes the results of the experiment aimed at evaluating students’ attitude to the subject area of “Foreign Languages” and determining the type of relationship between students’ personality and the educational environment.
