The design and implementation of a development model of information-prognostic competence of future officers of the Russian national guard troops

The article presents a pedagogical model of information and predictive competence of military cadets getting education on a specialty 40.05.01. “Legal protection of national security”. The pedagogical model offered reproduces the logic of decision making of a National Guard officer. Educational and logical models are the structural elements of the system of readiness formation to management decision making for the future officers of the National Guard troops. In accordance with the logical and functional model of management decision, the decision process is divided into two interconnected stages: the stage of information solutions and the stage of predicting the results of a decision. Success of the two stages depends on the level of information and predictive competences of a decision-maker. The implementation of an educational model is carried out in specific educational conditions using educational technology. The technology used by the authors is based on the interdisciplinary integration of ideas and is called interdisciplinary educational technology. The interdiscip-linary educational technology is also a structural component of the educational system of formation of readiness for management decisions. The content of the interdisciplinary educational technology is defined by the subject area. For the paper the discipline is “Criminology”.
