Design of higher education conceptual models to ensure sustainable development of Kuzbass

The article is devoted to the design of educational models that stimulate the growth of young people's interest in regional universities because it can reduce their outflow from the region, preserve and develop the intellectual potential of the territory, increase innovation activity and sustainability of regional development. This article attempts to show the role of higher education in ensuring the sustainable development of Kuzbass, based on the analysis of the dynamics of some socio-economic indicators of the regions of the Siberian Federal District and the systematization of the research results of Russian and foreign scientists. Similar studies have taken place mainly in foreign science. Domestic authors, investigating demographic, institutional and other aspects of sustainable development of regions in recent years, do not fully disclose the directions of improving the system of higher education and, in particular, the development of educational models that contribute to improving the competitiveness of regional universities, to reduce the levels of migration outflow and population aging in peripheral regions. Understanding the influence of many other socio-economic factors on these processes, the authors focus on designing an educational model that ensures an increase in the degree of integration of the university with business and other subjects of the educational ecosystem, an increase in the quality and client-centricity of the university's educational programs. According to research, the improvement of the education model requires the implementation of the mechanism of interaction of the educational process’ subjects. This implementation includes following stages: (1) creating conditions for the integration of the interests of the educational ecosystem’ subjects, (2) organizing interactions of participants in the educational process, (3) fixing the results of collaboration and compliance of the content and quality of education with modern requirements of industrial partners, professional standards and advanced technologies.
