The proposed article discusses the metal inductive diaphragm located in a rectangular waveguide. Based on the orthogonalizing substitution method, formulas were obtained to calculate the reflection coefficient and the standing wave coefficient (CWS). In the MATCAD environment, the CWF was calculated depending on the dimensions of the diaphragm. Experimental measurements of the KSV on the panoramic meter P2-61 were carried out. Inductive diaphragm was simulated in the Microwave Studio environment.
