Design of a multiphase dc-dc converter with a low output voltage jump when the load current increases to power devices from a car battery

The article discusses a new approach to designing an electrical circuit using the example of a 4-phase DC-DC converter designed to power devices from a car battery. This approach consists of using several phases connected in parallel and synchronized by clock pulses coming from an external microcircuit. It was revealed that this converter structure makes it possible to achieve improvements in various parameters, such as transient load characteristics, efficiency, and output voltage ripple. A new mechanism for distributing current between phases is proposed.
