The practice of development planning in the format of strategic sessions

The article analyzes the practice of conducting strategic sessions with organizations, when their task is to develop a development (transformation) project. The main stages that should be worked out by the participants of the sessions - employees of the organization itself and the organizers of the session - are described in detail. Sequentially, step by step, the general scheme of design of the future transformation is shown. Particular attention is paid to the stages of the formation of problems and setting the goals of the project. The sessions analyzed by the author were developed and implemented on the basis of the system-activity approach. The conclusions about the need to implement the design stages described in the article are based on a large amount of factual material from strategic sessions, primarily with universities. The results of the article can be used in planning strategic sessions and developing projects for the development of organizations. For the first time, the article describes in detail and structured the stages of such work.
