Project activities as a means of patriotism education

The article emphasizes the relevance of the problem under study, the importance of project activities in educating patriotism, citizenship, and morality. The essence of the concept of “patriotism” is revealed, the structural components of patriotism, internal and external factors influencing the process of its education are highlighted. An analysis of works devoted to patriotic education and the project method is carried out, which allowed the author to formulate the conclusions. Particular attention in the education of patriotism is given to project activities that contribute to the development of personality. The historiography of the emergence of the project method is briefly presented. It is noted that this method remains a relevant and demanded educational technology in the patriotic education of students. The purpose of the study is to prove that project activities in the patriotic education of students are the most productive and relevant.
