The problem of building a new infrastructure for the training of teaching staff in partnership with educational organizations of different levels of education, research and production companies and enterprises based on a project-network model is considered. The key role of a modern teacher and the quality of his professional training in solving a strategic task in the field of ensuring the technological sovereignty of the country - in increasing the motivation and readiness of children and youth for engineering and technological activities is shown. A project-and-network model of the innovative teacher training infrastructure is presented, which includes three spatial zones combined into a single organizational and methodological space of seamless integration and effective interaction of network innovation platforms of different levels. Substantiated in terms of the project-transformative network paradigm of modern education are two mechanisms that ensure the effectiveness of the presented model of teacher training - project-activity cooperation of education subjects and project-network management of their joint activities.
