Project approach to training for the film industry: transformation of the training system for cinematography and television

The article discusses the experience and methodological foundations of the projectapproach in the St. Petersburg State University of Film and Television for the specialisttraining in the film and television industry in accordance with the requirements ofthe federal state educational standards of higher professional training. It considersprinciples, development directions and elements of project-based learning in theUniversity. It describes the experience of students’ participation in the Universityprojects. In conjunction with the interdisciplinary integration project-orientedtraining of students can be one of the most important conditions for transformationof the specialists training system for Cinematography and Television.
