Professional development of a foreign language teacher in a higher education institution

The problems of professionalization of young teachers of a foreign language in higher education are considered. The article presents the materials of a study of these problems carried out at the Novosibirsk state technical University. It is shown that in the course of professional adaptation, young teachers face a complex of objective and subjective difficulties. Measures are proposed to overcome these difficulties.
