Teacher professionalism: key aspects

The problem of teachers ' professionalism is considered. It is shown that the teacher's professionalism organically combines the objective beginning - the process and result of mastering externally set, extra-positive teacher knowledge and competencies, other socio-professional requirements, with the subjective beginning-the inner world of the individual with all the richness of its creative abilities and qualities. The article substantiates the position that the profession of a University teacher is one of the most complex and most valuable areas of activity in the system of social division of labor. Attention is drawn to unresolved issues in the training and use of teaching staff and their remuneration.
