Professional adaptation of students in the process of their independent work

The article presents a model of independent work of high school students, including their research activities, volunteerism, social and pedagogical work aimed at formation of youth’s moral values and organization of interaction in reference groups. The results of the study of high school students’ professional adaptation before and after implementation of the model of independent work are shown. We present the understanding of professional adaptation as a complex systematic process that involves not only assimilation, but also active reproduction of a personal social experience, norms, values and attitudes, reflected in communication and professional activity. Methods for studying professional adaptation are described.
