Analysis of professional literature shows that the education science has accumulated a large amount of researches focused on development of different aspects of competence-based approach covering formation of students’ vocational abilities. Most national researchers consider the vocational competences from two perspectives: as an objective of education or vocational training; and as an intermediate result characterizing a specialist performing one’s duties.
