Professional position of teacher - source of success in pedagogical activity

The 21st century is the century of the newest technologies, and, certainly, a modern teacher should correspond to this new time. The article gives the definition of position with the point of view of professional activity. The author gives different points of view of different scientists in this question. Also in this article the term of professional preparation is given. The classification of positions of a person: professional, subject and social is depicted. In the conclusion the author confirms that the professional position of a teacher defines not only the success of the teacher, but also the success of his pupils.
