Professional self-identification of a teacher (by the material of S.Kuznetsov's novel "Dymov teacher")

Relevance and goals. At present, the field of studying the professional self-identification of a teacher plays an important role in the system of professional development, as well as interaction in the immediate professional environment. The relevance of this article is determined by the fact that in the modern world, the topic of the teacher's professional identity occupies a certain place in education. At the same time, the area of formation of this category has a certain significance in the subsequent development, including in the educational sense. Materials and methods. The material for this study was primarily the novel by the author S. Kuznetsov "Teacher Dymov". To achieve this goal, general scientific (analysis, synthesis, description) and philological (contextological, conceptual, comparative, retrospective) research methods were used in the work. Results. The work reveals and analyzes the professional identity of the teacher, which, as a result of the educational activities of students, and the ability of the teacher to analyze and evaluate their activities and its results, their professionally significant qualities are directly related to the effectiveness of pedagogical influence. Conclusions. In the process of studying this issue, it was determined that “Teacher Dymov” is a special description of the book, where the professional identity of the teacher allows the teacher not only to determine his place in the social world, but also on this basis to develop a system of values and beliefs that are adequate to the requirements of modern social economic conditions and the dynamic world of professions. In other words, professional identity appears as an integrative concept, which expresses the relationship of personal characteristics that provide orientation in the world of professions, more fully realize personal potential in professional activities, and also predict the possible consequences of professional choice.
