Professional socialization of students in the system of secondary vocational education

Transformational processes in modern society actualize the understanding of a number of youth problems, including professional socialization. Professional socialization contributes to obtaining a profession, the formation of professional competencies and the adaptive inclusion of a future specialist in the production environment. In this context, a comprehensive study of student youth, as a potential carrier of the future society, becomes an important scientific and applied problem. The authors provide a variety of scientific approaches to the disclosure of the scientific category “professional socialization”. Moreover, certain scientific provisions become a methodological key to understanding the content of the process of professional socialization. The article presents the results of the analysis of the organization of the process of professional socialization in educational institutions of the system of secondary vocational education in the Surgut region, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug - Yugra, the purpose of which is the formation of professional competencies and socially significant qualities necessary for the successful implementation of specialists in the professional field.
