The article considers participation of students in pedagogical teams as an effective form of professional selfdetermination of a future teacher. The experience of the activities of student pedagogical teams of the North Eastern Federal University that contributes to the professional and personal development of the future teachers is presented. It was found that due to the collective creative activity the future teachers can apply theoretical knowledge in practice, expand their knowledge, and acquire new essential professional skills.
