Professional standard in zootechnics training area under conditions of agricultural education upgrade

It is shown that the main direction of agricultural development is to increase the efficiency of agriculture and animal husbandry based on the development of new high-tech technologies. In these conditions, the role of higher agricultural education is increasing, which is designed to provide more complete satisfaction of the needs of agricultural production in personnel with professional competencies that meet the needs of practice. The results of a pilot sociological study aimed at determining the degree of compliance of the level of development of professional competencies in the field of training “Zootechnics” with the needs of production are presented. There are significant discrepancies in the understanding of teachers, employers and students of the real needs of agriculture. The article substantiates the need to strengthen the mechanism for combining the requirements of the industry qualification system and the system of higher agricultural education based on dual training in the integrated system “University - enterprise” and the cluster approach.
