Professional stress and problem of 18 stress-resistance in flight specialists

The article describes how specific conditions of professional activity of flight specialists predispose to professional stress, and therefore stressresistance is one of the main professionally important qualities. Therefore, testing for stress-resistance during professional psychological selection of candidates entering the flight school provides a basis for predicting their behavior under real critical conditions. However, such reliable tests to date have not been developed. Author technique of revealing the stress-resistance according to dynamics of mental activity productivity before and after exposure to stress, as well as experience of its application is described.
