Professor Grigory Ilyich Alekseev (on his 100th birthday)

A brief educational, clinical, research and pedagogical biography of a prominent Russian military field therapist, radiologist, scientist, clinician and teacher is presented. The contribution to the development of propaedeutics of internal diseases, military field therapy, radiology and toxicology, training of medical, therapeutic and scientific personnel, organization of radiological and therapeutic care in the Armed Forces was noted.
