Professor of sinology A.V. Rudakov and his scientific legacy

The article deals with scientific legacy of sinologist A.V. Rudakov (1871-1949), including a collection of Chinese books and manuscripts he brought from his expeditions to Hunchun, Qiqihar and Mukden at the beginning of the XXth century. Tracing the fate of the unique book collection now stored in St. Petersburg and Vladivostok, the authors draw on archival documents, including those from the personal archive of A.V. Rudakov, which is kept by his descendants, as well as field materials.
