The article gives brief biographic information about professor P.S. Grigoriev, that highlights several aspects of his becoming a scientist and founder of Saratov scientific school of dermatovenereology in the first half of the 20th century. The scientific input of P.S. Grigoriev in the development of native and world-wide dermatovenereological science is also shown.
