The article features intra-abdominal pressure dynamics and results in 168 acute intestinal obstruction patients. It has been stated that AIO causes IAP rise in 72,6% of the cases, whereas 32,12% are marked with abdominal perfusion pressure fall under 65 mm. m.c., and in 6,55% of the cases intra-abdominal hypertension syndrome is developed. Laparostomy and cutaneous sutures, muscular-aponeurotic abdominal layers not stitched, together with intestinal intubation, as surgical closure of acute intestinal obstruction, represent an effective surgical technique aimed at intra-abdominal hypertension prophylactics and treatment. These techniques enable intra-abdominal and perfusion pressure stabilization, reducing mortality rate from 18,89% to 7,69%.
