Resume: The frequency of infertility after an episode of inflammatory diseases of the pelvic organs correlates with the severity of tube damage, estimated laparoscopically. Tubal peritoneal infertility occurs in 3% of women with minor pipe damage, in 13% of women with moderate damage and 29% of women with severe pipe damage detected by laparoscopy [9]. The incidence of tubal peritoneal infertility significantly increases with the recurrent nature of the course of inflammatory diseases of the pelvic organs. Thus, according to some authors, tubal peritoneal infertility occurs in 8% of women who have had one episode of inflammatory diseases of the pelvic organs, in 20% of women with two history of verified episodes, and in 40% of women with three or more episodes of PID.
