Preventing extremism among youth in the Krasnodar krai organizational and managerial model

The paper examines the specifics of an organizational and managerial model for the prevention of extremism among youth, intended for implementation at the regional level. The authors analyzed the current state of measures to combat extremist manifestations on the territory of Russian Federation and the Krasnodar Krai. The study found that many legal acts have been adopted in the current period that consolidate the foundations for countering extremist activity. At the same time, it was found that in the Krasnodar Krai the implementation of the measures under consideration is formal or non-existent altogether. With this consideration in mind, the development of an action plan to implement the counter-extremism strategy has been proposed, which will form the basis for the creation of ways to optimize the mechanism for cooperation between bodies involved in preventing youth extremism at regional level, as well as the development of methods and measures to improve the effectiveness of law enforcement in the field concerned in Krasnodar Krai.
