Prevention of offenses as a factor of social development of the region

The criminalization of social relations, emerging in the process of reforming the socio-political structure and economic activity in Russia, is becoming especially acute. The scale of corruption and organized crime is increasing as a result of often changing conflicts in the form of ownership, and an intensification of the struggle for power. Serious threats to social stability arise in connection with the spread of drug addiction, the propaganda of violence. The lack of an effective system of social crime prevention, insufficient legal and material and technical support for the prevention of corruption and organized crime, and the outflow of qualified personnel from law enforcement agencies increase the impact of this threat on the individual, society and the state. The possibility of using social technologies in countering the manifestations of criminal deviation is substantiated.
