Prevention of adhesive disease of the abdominal cavity in the early postoperative period

Objective: improving long-term outcomes for patients undergone urgent surgery because of intestinal obstruction by laparoscopic adhesiolysis in early postoperative period. Material and methods: we investigated 150 patients after urgent surgery because of intestinal obstruction in the long follow-up period (beyond 6 months): Ist group (80 pts.) - standard postoperative therapy; IInd group (70 pts.) - on 4-5 postoperative day we made laparoscopic adhesiolysis and intraperitoneal injection of anti-adhesive gel. Results: analysis of research data showed that applying laparoscopic adhesiolysis in early postoperative period decreased risk of abdominal adhesive disease recidivism and it’s complications in tow times.
