Trade unions under the world financial and economic crisis

Trade union is a mass social organization of employees, set out to protect their social and economic rights. In the developed countries of the world trade unions undertake vigorous efforts to minimize the negative outcome of the crisis for various categories of employees, using a wide range of means from strikes and mass actions of protest to negotiations and pursuit of compromise with the employers under the economic and finance crisis. In Russia the situation builds up differently. In the article the domestic trade union behaviour under the crisis is investigated; who must protect the rights and interests of the Russian employees at the enterprise and what form of interrelations between the employers and the employees could mostly suit our compatriots make the data of the initiated by All-Russia Center of Investigations of Public Mind all-Russia Pole in autumn 2008, analysed in the article
