Type 2 diabetes mellitus is associated with vascular disorders, including diabetic foot syndrome (DFS). DFS itself is a cardiovascular risk factor with multiple therapeutic and prognostic implications, requiring multidisciplinary integrative treatment. Methodology for revealing the research problem. During 2022-2023, 81 patients with the neuroischemic form of DFS were examined at the Department of Surgery of the Andrei State Medical Institute. Research methods included: biochemical, hormonal and instrumental studies, etc. Research results. Determination of plasma NT¬proBNP concentration in patients with diabetic foot syndrome has important diagnostic and prognostic significance. In all patients with diabetic foot syndrome and in combination with chronic heart failure, NT¬proBNP levels were significantly higher than reference values.
