Prognostic factors of acute liver failure at liver resections

In the article the analysis of case histories and patient cards of 99 operated patients with scope growths in liver is carried out to determine the intraoperative prognostic factors of liver failure at liver resection. The multivariate analysis showed that the amount of liver removed, the duration of hepatoduodenal ligament clamping and the level of portal pressure were independent prognostic criteria of liver failure development after resection.
