Prediction of emergency under conditions of uncertainty in managing the process of polymerization of synthetic rubber

This paper proposes a method of forecasting based on a joint assessment of Hurst exponent and the current situation on the potentially dangerous object because of its uncertainty. The resulting index allows prediction of pre-warn the operator of a possible transition of the system in emergency stat, the achieved prediction gives the operator extra time to make management decisions.
