The article addresses the basic conditions for carrying out a product forecast. The structure of the forecast, formulas for calculation, types of forecasting methods, as well as market trends in the IT field are considered. The purpose of the work is to show the importance of data forecasting for the success of an IT product, identify the main methods and algorithms for forecasting, and consider the key aspects of integrating data forecasting into an IT product. The importance of the study lies in the need to constantly improve the efficiency of the company’s project management, which is expressed in assessing the use of the developed product by clients.
