Rare lichen Lobaria pulmonaria (L.) Hoffm. Habitat suitability prognosis along to geobotanical data in the northeast of Kostroma region

On a base of phytosociological releves, we identified the main forest types in Kostroma region where Lobaria pulmonaria had been met. We defined that L.pulmonaria occurs in the forest belonged to herbaceous section and green moss – dwarf-shrub subsection according to Coenofond classification [3,5]. We forecasted that L.pulmonaria can also be found in green moss – boreal small herb subsection. This was confirmed by published data. On a base of phoroptyte analysis, we made the inference that South taiga forest with herbaceous field layer (with tall herbs and nemoral-boreal herbs) has the most favorable conditions for L.pulmonaria sustainable existence.
