Timely issuing of indications for surgical intervention and an adequate choice of the volume and type of operation are some of the main features in the treatment of patients with pancreatic necrosis [1]. There are various methods for predicting the volume of pancreatic destruction, which range from determining correlations with physical markers to using data obtained during surgery. Computed tomography of the abdominal cavity is the main instrumental method for the study of patients with pancreatic necrosis in all phases of the disease [2]. 3D - modeling of computed tomography data can reliably visualize the localization and prevalence of pancreatic necrosis, as well as determine the further course of the disease and treatment tactics in patients with pancreatic necrosis. The degree of retroperitoneal lesion correlates with the severity of the manifestations of SPON (multiple organ failure syndrome). Predicting the volume of pancreatic necrosis and retroperitoneal fiber in patients with acute pancreatitis, using the proposed method, must be carried out upon admission to the hospital at the earliest possible date.
