Prognosing clinical course severity of combustion disease

This investigation was aimed at defining diagnosis significance of indices which characterize blood circulation, endogenous intoxication and hemostasis to forecast severity course of combustion disease. The study included 35 patients and consisted of 3 stages: by admission to hospital, in 12 and 24 hours. The study results revealed that the only way to determine compensated or non-compensated, reversible or irreversible character of clinical course already by the end of the first day is determining functional status of components of hemostasis system.
