Forecast scenarios for the development of monetary policy in 2024

This article is devoted to the role of monetary policy in regulating the economy of modern states in 2024. Central banks continue to make efforts to achieve key objectives, including price stability and support for economic growth. Price stability is important for macroeconomic stability. The authors of the article reviewed the principles of monetary policy, indicators and schedules of inflation and the key rate of the Bank of Russia. They also gave forecast scenarios for the development of the economy and showed the influence of internal and external factors on these scenarios.
