In modern conditions, the issues of forming a program for studying problems and analyzing the improvement of the system of motives and incentives for the effective activity of enterprise employees are quite relevant. In this regard, the article presents the program for the study of staff motivation developed by the authors, its purpose, objectives, hypotheses and research methods are presented in detail. The author's approach has been tested on the example of enterprises in the heat and power industry. As a result of the study, an enterprise (CHP) was identified that has the most effective system of personnel motivation (in terms of social significance, stimulation and encouragement, as well as labor productivity). Brief conclusions are presented at the end of the article.
