The Grating software for the design and simulation of diffraction gratins within the rigorous electromagnetic theory is presented. The software is compared with the well-known commercial software GSolver in terms of computation speed. The comparison is based on the examples of 1D and 2D diffraction problem solutions. The application of Grating to the solution of diffraction problem on lens raster is also considered.
