Labor productivity of remote workers

The article is devoted to the study of the impact of remote work on staff productivity. The research methods were generalization of empirical data, logical analysis, qualitative content analysis. From the point of view of the purposes of this article, four groups of productivity growth resources of remote workers have been identified. Firstly, the time of work, secondly, focus and concentration, thirdly, working conditions in the home office, and fourthly, professional improvement. The author notes constructive and destructive tendencies in the nature of the development of the remote labor system, despite the positive dynamics of the system and optimistic forecasts. Each resource is evaluated from the standpoint of constructive influence on the growth of staff productivity. It is concluded that an increase in the working time coefficient and the workload coefficient of employees can be achieved with the help of software and technical tools for remote desktop control, the elimination of unproductive time spent on meetings and meetings, more practical use of the released time on the road, eliminating the problem of absenteeism, staff turnover, vacations without maintenance, reducing morbidity. There are opportunities for focusing and concentration, in-depth study of the new. The main problems are the loss of working time boundaries, distracting factors of home environment and communications, poor ergonomics, the danger of stopping development, loss of ability to innovate and solve complex problems. The research work is intended for heads of structural divisions, remote work managers, employees of the organization and remuneration department.
