Production activity as a factor of economic development of the region (on the example of the kursk region)

The level of production activity has an impact on the economic development of regions. The study presents the dynamics of the index of industrial activity in Russia for the analyzed period. As an example, illustrating the production activity, the Kursk region was made, on the data of which the forecast of the extractive industry and the manufacturing industry was carried out. The work used General scientific methods: the method of comparative and statistical analysis, as well as correlation and regression analysis. The main result of the work is to identify the most progressive branch of the economy of the Kursk region.
