The article delves into the study of the relationship between production as a form of cultural continuation and housing as a space of state identity. The relevance is conditioned by the necessity of preserving cultural authenticity amid globalization and accelerated technological modernization. The novelty lies in the disclosure of the dual function of material practices: on the one hand, production acts as a carrier of cultural codes and symbols, and on the other, housing space forms collective ideas about nationality. The work describes the traditions of handicraft production and their transformation under the influence of innovations, examines examples of the symbolic burden of the industrial environment, and analyzes the forms of expression of identity in architecture and the interior of a home. Particular attention is paid to the Soviet and post-Soviet experience, where housing was used as a tool for cultural and political integration. The aim of the study is to identify the mechanisms through which production and home become channels for the reproduction of culture and state identity. To achieve this goal, comparative analysis, interpretation of socio-cultural data and the study of modern scientific literature were applied. In conclusion, practical consequences are highlighted: The preservation of craft traditions and culturally oriented urban planning can strengthen social unity and cultural heritage. The article will be useful for cultural scientists, sociologists, architects and specialists in the field of state cultural policy.
