Production and export of grain as a key component of world food security

The problem of global food/grain security in the conditions of 2022-2023 is significant for many countries. Global conditions have a significant impact on the state and development of the grain market in producing countries. Russia and Ukraine, as a rule, occupied an important place in the world production and supply of grain crops. The article notes that the state of world grain exports has changed dramatically under the conditions of Western restrictions and restrictions in relation to the Russian Federation. Former trade and economic ties, transport and logistics corridors have been destroyed, and the geography of the supply of grain crops from Russia has changed. Despite geopolitical and economic difficulties, the Russian Federation is increasing its grain export potential, creating new supply channels, concluding strategic agreements with partner countries, and solving current problems that contribute to the maintenance and development of the national grain complex.
