This article presents the results of 2015 excavation campaign at the Vengerovo 2 the settlement, associated with Krotovo culture of the Bronze Age. The site is situated in the Vengerovo district of Novosibirsk Region. The southern part of the settlement was been studied. The excavation area of 216 m 2 included two constructions, № 7 and 8. The house pits are trapezoidal in shape and 51,6 and 47,3 m 2 in square, respectively, and deepened to the natural ground for 0,1-0,22 m. Their long sides are oriented along NE-SW axis, with small deviations, and perpendicular to the edge of the terrace. The walls of the pits are oblique, or, rarely, straight. The flour is flat. The entrance is not fixed. There are niches (or storage), disturbed the integrity of the walls and outstepped the construction, in the walls of the house pits. Ceramic fragments covered the most part of the floor space in the constructions. These concentrations contained the animal bones, products made from the vessel walls (disks, “chips ”, objects of unknown purpose, fragments of molds for casting simple products), as well as the pottery beads and stone artifacts. The house pit №8 near southwestern wall contained the ceramic vessel of the Krotovo culture, standing in the pit upside down. The vessel was being refitted during the utilization. The vessel of such large size was being obtained in the settlement of Krotovo culture firstly. We found the fragment of stone mold for casting the celts in situ on the floor of the dwelling №7. Constructive features and ornamentation of this find close to Seima-Turbino type of celts. According to the classification of E.N. Chernykh and S. V. Kuzminykh, by the main features it belongs to the category of K-12, but, in view of fragmentary of the found form, it can be a celt section of category K-18. This find relates to the specialized equipment and indicates the mass production of the Seima-Turbino celts at the Vengerovo 2 settlement
