Manifestation of the tradition of alcohol consumption in modern Japan

The article reveals the connection between the tradition of drinking strong alcoholic beverages in ancient Japan and the problem of modern alcoholism among the Japanese. The connection between alcohol consumption and domestic violence in families is shown. Alcohol consumption during the COVID-19 pandemic was analyzed. The importance of alcohol advertising on the level of alcohol consumption among the Japanese population, including among minors, is shown.
