Prosecutor's offices in the system of state power of the Russian Federation

The article deals with the question of the place of the prosecutor’s office in the system of the state mechanism. Based on the tasks and functional purpose of the prosecutor’s office as one of the most important elements of the mechanism of the state, it is proposed to raise the status of the prosecutor’s office to the level of the fourth branch of government.
