Prosecutor's supervision at the stage of initiation of a criminal case: current state and prospects of development

The article examines the current state and trends in the development of prosecutorial supervision at the stage of initiating a criminal case, analyzes the organization of prosecutorial supervision. The article deals with the problems of exercising the powers of prosecutors and the functions of the prosecutor’s office in terms of their inconsistency and how this inconsistency can interfere with the prosecutorial supervision at the stage of initiating a criminal case. In order to improve the organization of prosecutorial supervision at the stage of initiating a criminal case, it is proposed to use knowledge of the laws of organizational work in order to properly use all legal means available to the prosecutors office to exercise prosecutorial supervision at the stage of initiating a criminal case. Proposed amendments to the present legislation in order to improve the prosecutorial supervision at the stage of initiating a criminal case.
