Prosecutor's supervision of the bodies of the penal system

The Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation has important tasks aimed at identifying, suppressing and preventing violations of the rule of law and the regime of detention, the rights and legitimate interests of detainees, convicted persons in custody, convicted persons, and court-imposed punishments that are not related to isolation from society. In this case, the supervision of the Prosecutor's Office is one of the most important legal guarantees, since prosecutors are endowed with powers that have a power-administrative nature. The article provides for the role of the Prosecutor's Office in supervising the activities of the criminal executive power, and the author also determines the directions for improving the effectiveness of the prosecutor's supervision over the implementation of laws.
