Prooxidant -antioxidant status in cows is normal and in pathologies

Our research has established that calving is a physiological stress for cows and the early postpartum period in them is characterized by a slight activation of lipid peroxidation processes. In cows with postpartum pathology, the processes of oxidative damage to lipids increase and correlate with the severity and duration of the disease, and the functional state of the antioxidant system decreases.
