Promotion of road safety in educational institutions (on the example of the Tyumen Institute of Advanced Training of employees Russian Interior Ministry)

Тhe article examines the issues of the activities of the internal Affairs bodies of the Russian Federation to promote road safety. The study was based on the analysis of normative legal acts regulating legal education, legal information, including legal propaganda in the field of road safety. Based on the study of statistical data on road accidents in the Russian Federation, the state of accidents in the Tyumen region, the author concludes that despite the positive trend in the dynamics of road accidents in the Russian Federation as a whole, in the Tyumen region (for example, the city of Tyumen) there is an increase in the number of accidents involving children under 16 years. In this regard, it is pointed out the need to strengthen measures aimed at ensuring road safety, including through legal promotion of road safety in educational institutions, children's institutions. Promising forms and methods of work in the field of promotion of road safety are proposed, including the involvement of children's associations of law enforcement orientation, providing scientific and methodological support for promotional activities organized in the framework of activities with educational organizations.
